Our pre-symposium 1-day excursion (July 23th) will take place in Peninha, Sintra mountain range, ca. 40 km from Lisbon. This is the detailled schedulle:
Meeting at 9.00 am in the Faculty of Sciences of Lisbon (38.756583, -9.155151);
At approximately 10 am, we will arrive to Peninha (N 38° 46' 9.06" W 9° 27' 32.27");
Visit to Peninha’s enchanted forest (38.774483, -9.460347);
Picnic style lunch at “Lagoa do Dragão Verde”;
Visit to Cabo da Roca (N 38° 46' 51" W 9° 30' 2");
Arrival at Lisbon at approximately 17.30 pm.

Note for those expecting to collect biological specimens: Regarding the Nagoya protocol, in Portugal, no restrictions are applied to collect and take specimens back to your institutions, nor export permits are needed, as far as the specimens are collected exclusively for taxonomic purposes (DL nº 7/2017 de 13 de março).
